Terms of Service

By accessing or playing The Last Sector ("the Game"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must not use the Game.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated via in-game notification or email.

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree not to share, transfer, or sell your account to any other person.

Each player may maintain only one active account. Creating multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage ("multi-accounting") is prohibited and may result in permanent suspension of all associated accounts.

The Game uses a virtual currency called Space Energy (SE). SE exists in two pools:

• Earned SE — Obtained through gameplay (missions, PvP rewards, trading). Earned SE is non-refundable and has no real-world monetary value.
• Withdrawable SE — Deposited using real money. Subject to a 5% deposit fee and a 10% withdrawal fee. Withdrawable SE may be converted back to real currency, subject to minimum thresholds and identity verification.

When spending SE in-game, earned SE is spent first. Withdrawable SE is only consumed after your earned balance is exhausted.

We reserve the right to modify SE economics (fees, earn rates, minimum withdrawal thresholds) with reasonable notice. Balances are recorded server-side; client-displayed values are informational only.

You agree not to:

• Use bots, scripts, or automation tools to play the Game
• Exploit bugs, glitches, or vulnerabilities — report them instead
• Engage in real-money trading (RMT) of accounts, resources, or in-game items outside the official market
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other players via in-game chat or any associated communication channel
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Game client or server
• Circumvent or interfere with security features, rate limits, or anti-cheat systems
• Impersonate staff, moderators, or other players

Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, permanent bans, and/or forfeiture of all virtual currency and assets.

All content within The Last Sector — including but not limited to game mechanics, artwork, audio, text, UI design, logos, and code — is owned by The Last Sector or its licensors and is protected by international copyright and trademark law.

Your account grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and play the Game for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Player-created content (clan names, messages, etc.) remains your property, but you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute such content within the Game.

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion for violation of these Terms. In cases of permanent ban, any remaining withdrawable SE balance will be returned to you minus applicable fees, provided the ban was not for fraud or financial exploitation.

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access. Scheduled maintenance, server outages, and balance adjustments may occur. We are not liable for any loss of progress, virtual currency, or items resulting from technical issues.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Game shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the jurisdiction in which the operator is established.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
